Links go to my reviews on Goodreads.com. This was a light month, in part because I sort of ran out of books and was waiting on library holds or interesting things to come up on NetGalley. But, I still read a lot – I caught up on a ton of back issues of The New Yorker.
- Before I Go To Sleep, S.J. Watson
- The Ghost Map, Steven Johnson
- The Strain, Guillermo del Toro
As of the end of June, I was five books ahead in my goal for the 2012 Goodreads Challenge. I originally set a goal of reading a book a week, which I have adjusted up to 54 books to reflect one cookbook and one book I didn’t finish, which are automatically counted in the tally but which I don’t think actually count.
Since I’ve been ahead of my goal by various amounts for almost the entire year, I was thinking of adjusting the goal at the end of June. But, I think instead I will just let it rest and see how many I go over by.
