I’m quite tired (didn’t sleep too well last night and did some hard-core cleaning of the bedroom today) so pretend that this is a more high-energy post.
Yesterday, Andrea, the Knitting Librarian and I went to Bazaar Bizarre Boston, which was just as awesome as last year. I wasn’t Christmas shopping — I was on the lookout for a great skein of handmade yarn and any interesting and unique jewlery. I had great results on all counts: a skein of bulky merino from Skeintily Clad, which will become a Zen Scarf, hooked up on a size N hook; a gorgeous leather and freshwater pearl necklace from Yankee Girl Designs, and a cute pair of dangly earrings from a vendor who I’ve forgotten (no name on the packaging!). Pics are up on Flickr with some additional notes.
Looks like you had fun! Beautiful yarn, too.
See you in January!
