The October box has arrived! Whether or not I have room in the drawer for this stuff is something we won’t talk about for now. Apparently there are now 22 of these little bottles, jars, envelopes and baggies awaiting my attention.
Taste Weavers Peppercorn Horseradish Dip – Dip! This is a new one in a Hatchery box. They suggest spreading this on a roast beef or steak sandwich, sounds like a delightful work at home day lunch for me.
Reginald’s Homemade Nana Honey Peanut Butter – This will either get put in my yogurt one day, or eaten along with an apple.
Ft. Greene Farms Charred Sriracha – I was psyched to see this in my box, as I’d seen the suggested recipe for Honey-Sriracha Glazed Brussels Sprouts pop up on Twitter. Handsome and I will be making these ASAP.
Meso Nutso Lavender Extract – Most of the suggestions for this are dessert or cocktail oriented, which seems fine to me. Both are gin drinks and the main difference between them seems to be the type of lemon used – Meyer or regular. In any case they do sound good and I have gin in my bar.
Southern Okie Gourmet Peach Spread – Peach jam! Delicious. This will go in oatmeal.
