This is my place to track my progress on my 2013 Goals.

Read 70 books: 55

Attend 30 yoga or pilates classes per quarter:
January – March: 27
April – June: 17
July – September: 17
October – December: 53 (Thank you, yoga boot camp)

Cook two recipes from my cookbooks each month:
January: 2 – The Joy the Baker Cookbook – Single Lady Pancakes; The Smitten Kitchen Cookbook – Whole Lemon Bars
February: 4 – Betty Crocker’s Cookbook – Brownies and Corn Muffins; Vegetarian Cooking for Everyone – Tortilla Soup; The Best 30-Minute Recipe – Create-Your-Own Stir-Fry with Orange-Sesame Sauce.
March: 4 – The Smitten Kitchen Cookbook – Sesame-spiced turkey meatballs and Smashed chickpea salad with lemon and sumac; The Bread Bible – Chocolate Chocolate Chip Bread; Rachael Ray Top 30 30-Minute Meals – Quick Tagine-Style Chicken with Couscous.
April: 2 – The Smitten Kitchen Cookbook – Mustard Milanese with an Arugula Fennel Salad and Roasted Tomatoes and Cipollini Onions with White Beans
May: I cooked something inspired by a recipe from a page I’d torn out from a magazine, does that count here?
June: 1 – Vegetarian Cooking for Everyone – Rice and Eggs with Peas and Herbs
Height of farm share season means that July – October is a lot of free-form cooking, or cooking recipes from the internet as it’s easier to search. Maybe someday I will pay for Eat Your Books, which is actually pretty cheap.
November: 2 – The Betty Crocker Cookbook – Spicy Carrot Cake with Lemon Swirl Frosting; The Joy the Baker Cookbook – Araby Spice Cake with Lemon Glaze
December: 1 – The Smitten Kitchen Cookbook – Mom’s Apple Cake.
